Foster Moreau @fhmoreau
Through somewhat of a miraculous process, this Free Agency period has been life changing for me. During a routine physical conducted by the Saint’s medical team down in New Orleans, I’ve come to learn that I have Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, and will be stepping away from football (1/3)

Foster Moreau @fhmoreau
Replying to @fhmoreau
at this time to fight a new opponent: Cancer. I’m grateful for the support and thankful for people who have stood firm with me. There hasn’t been a single step I’ve taken without hundreds of people lighting the path before me, and I will continue to seek their guidance. (2/3)

Foster Moreau @fhmoreau
That being said, I’ll go kick this thing’s arse and get back to doing what I love! AMDG!

Didn't something like this happen with the Eagles longsnapper/magician when he had a physical with the Saints?

Thankfully it's Hodgkin's Lymphoma, which has a pretty high survival rate as far as cancers go. Wish him the best.

Damn. Guy had a promising future in the NFL. Glad it was found and hope he beats it. Great former Tiger.

Go hit it hard, young man. Pulling for you!

A great Tiger and was one of my favorites towards the end of his career.

Very fortunate to get this early detection. Wishing him the best and a speedy recovery.

Saints' medical team probably gave it to him by mistake

I ain’t saying it is the field turf….but it won’t surprise me if in 10 years or so that everyone is going back to some type of natural sod / grass.

The smell of these turfs when it is hot is not healthy.

You’re being downvoted but there have been studies done on soccer goalkeepers that play on turf due to their abnormally high cancer rates. They spend a large portion of practices with their head at or near the surface relative to other athletes.

Well the Raiders play and practice on natural grass, as does LSU. Chiefs and Broncos also natural grass.

He hasn't seen that much turf, especially compared to others.

Jon Dorenbos, aortic aneurysm which led to immediate heart surgery. This happened in 2017. The Birds won the Superbowl in 2018 and gave Dorenbos a ring.

Do the Saints simply have a better medical staff?
