Texas, which does not have as good of a defense as ND, pretty much shut down Ohio state most of the game

Texas' defense is better than NDs. They have better players and less important injuries.

Texas was #2 in scoring defense before the playoffs. ND has admittedly gotten the lower scoring side of the bracket. You can determine which side was better on your own, but I dont think any of the offenses on that side of the bracket would blow you away

ND will get crushed in this game. Sadly. I was hoping for at least a close game but I doubt we get one.

Quinn still has water in his lungs & brain from LSU dragging ND into the deep water in that Sugar Bowl game.

Ohio State is 1-1 vs. Oregon this year....

Just saying' how ridiculously stupid these Playoffs have been.

Please AP bust it up so we can party like its 2003.

AP, respect the regular season.

Turnovers and controversial officiating would be the deep waters.

If they’re playing in water, I assume a lot of the players will be in trouble.

100% they want to get in 3rd and 2 and run the qb. Try to get man coverage and hit 2 plays.

They can’t score more than 28 pts and that will include a special teams score.

but the one that matters... I dont think ND has the roster to compete with OSU.

It’s not even close but we all know that.

I’m expecting a bloodbath. Only way osu loses is if they beat themselves which they already used that mulligan recently.

Texas was the team to beat Ohio State. ND will get blown off the field.

You have no iq of football at this level. This will be a famn close game and decided by turnovers.
Texas played straight into their hands.
ND is way more physical like Michigan offense, which gives them fits.

As far as non field stuff, the ncaa and political powers that be, severely want ND and Freman (black coach), to win.
You need to understand all the forces that want that. NBC, etc

IMO this game winner is decided, especially if the refs have a chance to control the end.

ND all the way

In my 33 years of life as a football fan I have never been on the positive side of bad officiating. If ND wins a natty because we benefited from a questionable call I think it is just proof that karma is real.

what does that mean?

In coach speak it means slow the game down, be conservative, keep it close until late, and hope your conditioning is better than theirs.

Works unless they (Ohio St) get ahead by 28. Which is probably going to happen.

Notre Dame kept it tight the last two years, this isn't an outlandish statement.

They are gonna attempt to use the Tressel playbook and make us the 2002 Miami Hurricanes.

And Brady Quinn doesn't hate Ohio State. He has a weekly radio spot on the local Columbus ?? station.
Lol this Ohio State team isn't half as good as the 02 Miami
