Thats absurd. You don’t let a coach just talk like that to you in the handshake line in front of your team without having a word

A post on a Wisconsin message board:

"If he's going to punch a guy for calling a timeout, it should've been Chris Webber."

Oh yeah, completely unprovoked too.

He's toast.

this is absolutely a part of it. Gard’s comfort putting his hands on a Black man in a situation where he’d never touch a white coach. That sort of disrespect is absolutely one of the reasons Juwan lost it

Honestly frick them. I hope they keep Howard for another 20 years. It will just mean they are guaranteed to consistently fail.

Juwan is clearly a hothead idiot. I think he's done

He was still mad af in the post game interview. I mean a late timeout up or down big is something to groan about, not to blow your lid over. It isn't like the coach was using a full to or calling them back to back to rub it in.

Not at all. And I’m not excusing Howard (since that seems to be where you’re taking it). From the video it looked like Howard was going to just ignore him. Should’ve just let him go. Anyone who has seen Howard coach knows he’s a hot head.

I think you just like to be a contrarian

The problem isn’t Juwan’s initial argument. That happens all the time. It’s his completely absurd childish behavior AFTER being separated from the argument.

That’s when any reasonable adult walks the other way. He dives back through the pile to throw a sneak punch.

It doesn’t matter if you are a coach or not, any middle age adult who does that is pure trash.

He has to be fired, right? I mean I don't think I have ever seen the actual head coach start a brawl in any sport.

Yeah, by that point he needs to be apologizing profusely.

Seth Davis agrees with BluegrassBelle.

1. Gard should not have called time out.
2. Gard should not have put his hands on Howard.
3. Krabbenhoft should not have escalated.
4. Howard throwing a slap/punch was inexcusable and calls for severe repercussions.

All these things can be true.

Who gives a shite about the timeout? That's not even remotely something to get upset over.

#0 for Wiscy was the only bro who really wanted to scrap. He was going full Tazmanian Devil in there. Everyone else was just "basketball fighting."

Howard gets fired because he is a terrible leader of men and an awful head of the organization. you cant be the HC instigating confrontations, escalating confrontations, prolonging them, and doing “hold me back” shite when you are the face of the program. If there was any expectation of player discipline left it just got shite canned by the actions of the HC.

Just Cant have that

Howard was pressing full court and still had starters in.
Keep pulling the moral card though.
