That’s the best part, Howard has done the exact thing he is crying about and he also was the one pressing the back ups.

Of course Howard is from the south side so we must lower the bar and not hold him to anything.

Your entitled to your opinion. It's just completely wrong.

He didn’t even punch/slap the guy they’re trying to blame this on. The entire narrative is agenda driven.

It’s such a weak take all while shouting learn the game.

Howard is supposed to be a leader of men. He’s the face of the program. When you are the HC, you just can’t do these things. There’s no excuse or reason. He fricked up.

And look what happened, one of his players started throwing punches because he did.

It’s not even the first time Howard has had an incident.

So I'm not sure why you think this is a good point?

because before Sunday, Howard was 2-1 against Wisconsin and Gard and there was zero bad blood between them in the three previous meetings. Looking at the video, their handshakes were positive and collegial and almost friendly. What has changed? Perhaps Howard's attitude and frustration with the season has lead to him losing his composure and becoming irrational? Looks that way to me.

Which means he didnt learn his lesson from the Turgeon confrontation and his professionalism and poise has gotten worse.

It's so obvious when a post basically highlights things every party did wrong and says punishment should be metted out to all involved but all they can fixate upon is race

Who exactly is bringing up race here? Most people in this thread are pointing out Howard instigated every step of the incident, and there is actual video evidence to back that up.

However, the basic argument you and others are making is that if you act like a bitch, and someone confronts you about it, you are entitled to act like an even bigger bitch, and everybody should share the blame for it.

And this one wasn't, so those handshakes are not relevant to the specific discussion around grabbing his elbow because it's normal during a handshake.

Exactly. The 2 aren't mutually exclusive.

or all of that is irrelevant because it appears Howard is a thin skinned front running bitch and when faced with adversity he lashes out and becomes irrational and completely forgets he is the face of the program and a leader of young men

i see he was suspended the rest of the year, that is a good start. counseling would be appropriate as well

Nice precedent Michigan set here but I’ll bet there will be double standards to come.

He should have been fired on the spot! Suspension is literally just a slap on the wrist for this thug. Now the Athletic director needs to be fired for not doing his job!!!

Did you know Howard himself has called TOs with the game already out of reach in 2 different games this season? So clearly he’s only bothered when someone else does it to him

Because you said the Wisconsin coach shouldn’t have called timeout to help his walkons that were having trouble handling the press from Michigan starters and role players.

Learn the game, homie.
