Jerry Rice, he could have played on my high school team in Starkville, but just wanted to play at the county school.

Growing up Major Harris was a thrill to watch, never really seen somebody like him at the time.

It took 20 more years to get QBs who could run AND pass really well.

Oklahoma and others had great athletes at QB but mostly wishbone stuff.

Harris passed for 4,834 yards in a 3 year career with 9.1 yards per attempt and a career passer rating of 147.5.

Oh and he also rushed for 2,030 yards in his 3 year career.

Mine isn’t gonna be popular, but Barry Bonds was unlike anything I’ve ever seen at the plate.

His reign of terror as a hitter for the Giants will never be duplicated.

Was he a jerk? Yeah
Did he juice? Yeah (every in that era was)

Was he superhuman as a pure hitter? Absolutely
