Not that hot of a take. That Clemson defense shuts down USC. USCs defense was also pretty damn porous that year. Clemson wins that game by 2 TDs.

I think 2019 LSU is probably the best college team of the century, but I have a hard time believing Michigan's team last year isn't one of the best eight teams since 2000. Give me 2023 Michigan over 2020 Alabama any day of the week.

In all honesty, I don’t think anyone in that bracket would beat 05 Texas.
Offense was unstoppable plus they had the Defense to slow down any of those other Offenses, particularly their CB and Safety group were studs

The 2010 SEC was stacked. 2010 Auburn would destroy 2013 FSU and 2018 Clemson, at the very least.

2018 Alabama is the best visiting team that has ever walked into Tiger Stadium, at least that I've seen with my eyes.
And Clemson destroyed that team. I agree about their front four. They would have been a problem for SC's running game I think, and I don't see why they couldn't confuse and fluster Leinart the same way they did to Tua in the title game.
