For those of us that didn't see the original story, how many times did he claim to have been tested?

I'm not defending the guy. Reid certainly may have lied.

That doesn't change whether I disagree with having the guy looking into potential bias in the testing program be the guy im charge of the testing program.

It would be like asking Eric Reid to investigate whether Eric Reid was lying. An outsourced investigation has way more credibility.

Yeah, I mean, what did people think the NFL's self-investigated report would say? That they targeted Eric Reid?

From the article, I can't tell if they were able to see the raw data on the testing.

If the coordinator turned over the data to the NFL and NFLPA, I'd think that was a decent level of oversight and have less criticism of the process. The article doesn't say that happened, which is the basis for my criticism of the process.

If they just took the director's word, I don't think the NFLPA lied, but do think they should have asked for more. If they actually got more, that's a fair process, but that's not what the article says.

The NFLPA has pretty much had Reid's back throughout his grievance process. There's no way they'd release a statement like that without some pretty solid evidence.

fewer times could be 1 less time than he claimed, meaning he still got tested more than the normal rate

I dont like him anymore. The dude has never been oppressed yet young black men in BR are getting murdered left and right by other young black men. Not a fricking peep from him other than playing the victim card. Not the fact that hes older and his level of play has dipped just like any other normal human being.

Did anyone really think Lombardo would respond with anything else? Reid may well have exaggerated or lied, but does anyone think the guy who oversees PED testing would respond that Reid was targeted?

the test dates are a matter of record. if the amount of tests are excessive then the NFLPA would see that.

reid pays his dues to the union to protect him, if the union unjustly sided with the League against a player and that got out then the Union would be destroyed

Did it say how often he had actually been tested?

OP was edited after i originally posted

it still doesnt give a number of times he was tested. Nor does it give an explanation as to what a normal amount of testing compared to everyone else in the league means. My point still holds up
Also the same people on here taking the independent investigation as truth are the same ones that called them bullshite in regards to some of the domestic violence ones or concussion cases

White people just out here trying to be angry at something
