This doesn't really make a difference in a draft where there is no surefire top QB prospect.

Do you really trust Shedeur Sanders or Cam Ward?

The Browns/Jets/Giants/Jaguars/Bears/Raiders have been picking at the top of the draft for a decade.... and they still look just as bad as the Saints

The Texans were the Ambassadors of Rebuild until they finally landed a playmaking QB who doesn't diddle his masseuse.

It's all nonsense until you land a coach+QB combo that can win meaningful games

Loomis was lucky to be an NFL GM in the first place yet here dude is still living off Sean and Drew’s greatness. Im so jealous of teams that wipe the slate clean and get rid of the coach AND GM. Like, it’s been over 2 decades. Get some new ideas in. Not to mention guy knows frick all about football.

Loomis biggest f u to the fans was smacking that gum throughout his press conference a year ago. Man what a condescending a-hole.

Pro football fans should sue the NFL for putting that garbage team on national TV for Christmas Eve-Eve.

Don't ever do that again, Goodell, you moron.

I think she cares, but she’s clearly out of her depth… the Saints and Pelicans are not an Old Metairie flower shop

Yeah I don’t want any of those QBs. But the value of the first pick is more than double the 10th.
We gotta get back to getting top value in the draft as opposed to trading away picks to go get a guy.

Well, yeah. Historically terrible franchise is reverting back to it’s roots without Drew Brees and Sean Payton. We all saw it coming.

Only the sheep/squirrels thought this wasn’t going to,happen. The window closed Drew’s second to last year. The entire sculpture is now burnt to ground. They’re nobetter the Raiders and Panthers for foreseeable future.

The team is owned by elderly Metairie housewife/widow.

Like what do you actually expect?

You expecting Belichik levels of thought here?
Belichick was a special teams coach for 10 years. So was John Harbaugh.

I doubt it happens in today's world but maybe the NFL and the owners should come up with some sort of contingency plan that prevents a Gold Digger from sneaking in towards the end and gaining control of a team, when its clear the Gold Digger doesn't care about the organization, players, fans or city.

They already do have it built in, and I am sure they will do what is necessary for the important teams. The league has to vote on and approve of all owner's succession plans. Which means at one point the other owners & league approved the plan to transition the team to Rita, and then eventually Gayle.

Yet they’ll praise them for their “brilliant” moves in order to stay under the cap. Just need to flush the toilet at this point.

Funny thing is he has to pull off those brilliant moves just to get cap compliant these next 2 years. And depending on what he does in 2025 & 2026 (assuming he's still around), he'll be pulling more rabbits out of his arse as more of these big contracts start retiring cutting his ability to keep pushing that envelope. Eventually this credit card bill is going to hit hard and won't be surprised if the league needs to save this team from Loomis.

A team would very likely trade you a relatively high pick and another first for one of these guys.
