95% of them are here just to hate LeBron. That's it.

Holy shite. This thread continues to deliver with stupidity.

LOL....you think Seth will fight for a mediocre player to get MAX deal?
Iguodala was as productive as green a few years back, do you think he deserved a max deal when declining?

Dude fricking let Durant go, you think he'll fight for green max deal?

Idiot

A lot can happen in the next 4 years, are we sure that Steph is still going to want to play at 38 years old?

If Steph wants to play, Warriors likely offer a contract as long as he can still shoot and Kerr or any subsequent coach can cover any defensive issues.

Yes, DG will get a huge contract barring he doesnt meaningfully regress between now and FA.

He is the best defender of this generation, who is still elite, a vocal leader that commands a ton of respect around the league, and is a very good facilitator.

1 of 2 things happen

1) Warriors give him a thank you deal for all he has done and in anticipation of the market to lock him up and to not upset Curry + team chemistry

2.) The Warriors roll the dice on losing him to a team that feels they are a DG like impact player from a chip. They will give him near 35mil at 3-4 years anticipating a 1-2 year window and figure out the rest later.

That's what I want

Hell, have the Lakers or Knicks pay him the max and see what happens.

Michael Cooper from the Showtime Lakers was a big part of their success but people understood his place in the team hierarchy. There's no shame in him asking but let him try to lead a team to wins without more valuable players and see how that works

Dude is at the tail end of his career, he should be happy to get 1 or 2 year deals averaging 30 mil a season.

It would be funny to watch pansy Steve Kerr try to control a locker room without an alpha like Dray keeping everyone in check.

Green is the most overrated player in NBA history by a lot.

yeah, investment banker Kerr would have his hands full, but I think Steph would bail him out. Lol Those players respect Steph a whole lot.

He Cost GSW an easy championship with the game 5 suspension. They were not good enough to win without him.

In game 7 that series he had 32/15/9.

More points, more rebounds, and more assists than both Klay and Steph combined.

Green belongs on the most overrated player of all-time list.

I wouldn’t want to pay him $20 million/year. He should be in the $10-$15 million/year range.

GSW would have zero rings without him. I think that is pretty evident. Maybe they coulda won 1 of those KD Rings w/out him, but easily debatable.

He was the player who Unlocked their “death lineup”. That’s what made them an all time great squad. The ability to play green at the 5.
