Don’t look now, but Ronnie is batting .362 thirty games in with 14 SB.

He looks healthy again. It has been really fun to watch.

Ronnie Coleman plays baseball now?

Acuna is on pace for 27 HR and 76 SB.
Figure the the HR pace will go up and the SB pace will go down as we get into the hotter summer months so he may have a chance at 40-40. However, his launch angle is definitely down this year. He is hitting the ball hard but more on the ground, line drives this year. Don't know if it's by design or not, but regardless he will struggle to hit 40 HR with his approach right now, which isn't necessarily a bad thing either.

Sucks for that pitcher though. Right as the announcer is talking about how he just got recalled up from AAA and gives up an absolute nuke

He's starting to get a few more in the air. The ball he hit in New York on Monday hasn't landed yet.
I like the Mets' broadcast call of Acuna's bomb better. Also, love the fan in the $5 outfield third deck seats who gets the homer looking absolutely shocked a ball landed up there.
Mets' announcers not as excited about Acuna launching a new satellite

He hit that ball so far that the Mets fan who caught it was afraid to throw it back because he wouldn't have gotten it to the field. Holy hell.
Also, 448? That looked closer to 500.

and the SB pace will go down
We may get to see 70 SB from him due to the new pick off rules. I know he has already had a couple due to him going on first movement after the 2nd PO attempt. Teams better adjust or he will run all the time.
70 SB hasn't happened since '09.

But the MSB assured me that Tatis was better.
They were wrong then and they're wrong now. When healthy, he's the best player in baseball not named Trout or Ohtani.
