Does Colorado have staying power?
Posted by Andrew Topecchio

I don’t necessarily mean wins and losses, but when Deion leaves, will they continue to care about football? Surely they see that this football thing is generating tons of revenue and publicity.

Not without Coach Deion Sanders.

They are capable of not caring about a single sport they have

It’s more likely that the Miami MLS team keeps selling tickets after Messi leaves

This will be a very short lived era in CU football. Might come to an end tomorrow. Without Hunter, playing at Oregon, it could get ugly. Then again against USC. Then against Utah and others. The guy covers like 3 positions on the field.

Texas Tech (who lost to Wyoming) had Oregon on the ropes. Oregon needed a FG with a minute left in the game to take the lead in that one.

The 90+ year old lady from Gameday will be there long after Deion leaves.

Probably not. It has taken one of the biggest showmen to get Colorado to care. He also happens to bring a few elite players. Whoever replaces him wont be able to do either when they walk in the door.

One more time......
The goddamn transitive property does not work in college football. Jesus fricking Christ.

Nil has changed the game. If you have the money to pay recruits and can bring in a coach you can compete.

I'm not sure they'll have staying power when Sean Lewis leaves. He's going to be a head coach at a major program next season.

Who knows? If they do they do, if they don’t they don’t.

Well CU needed 2OT to beat Colorado St at home, who Wazzu massacred.
