Do you consider Devin Booker or Trae Young in your top 10 best current NBA players?

Both have been balling out, I would say Trae has a better argument at the moment with what hes done for that hawks team but Booker is damn good. Reminds me a little bit of Kobe, can get a basket at will and plays with fire

KD
Jokic
Embiid
Steph
Antecumpow
Lillard
Lebron (smh)
Doncic

I think those are you top 8. Help me out if im wrong.
I think its fair game from there.

Edit: Kawhi, DMitchell, Tatum are in that range too.

Edit 2: Booker wasnt before the playoffs but he has a case now. Young is close but def not top 10

Booker would be 4th in my ratings behind Kawhi Leonard, Joel Embiid and Steph Curry.

Young is borderline top 10

Trae Young, Devin Booker, Jamal Murray, and Donovan Mitchell are all pretty interchangeable to me.

Booker has a strong case right now.

League is deep as there a descending greats like LeBron and CP3 still at or near the top 15 as well some young players ascending quickly.

Same thing happens every decade or so.

No you don’t have a case when you are beating up a team with a staring back court of Campazzo and Austin rivers. Those guys are a 4th guard / 8th or 9th man off the bench kinda guys.

I’d rather have Tatum than either

Jamal Murray doesn’t belong in that group as of now.

They’re definitely top 10 of the guys left in the playoffs

It’s just really hard to include them when you look at the list of the top 10 (if we’re assuming everyone is healthy)

KD
Giannis
Jokic
Steph
Kawhi
AD
Lebron
Embiid
Doncic
Lillard

Not sure which of those guys you can kick out for Booker or Young.

KD, Lebron, Jokic, Giannis, Harden, Steph, AD, Luka, Embiid, Kawhi (this is just random order) are the clear cut top 10 right now imo.

Lillard, CP3, Tatum, George, Zion, Mitchell in that next tier along with Beal, Kyrie, Booker, Butler, Bam.

Orlando chose SG Mario Hezonja over SG Devin Booker.

Makes me sick every time I think about it. Probably the worst franchise from talent evaluation standpoint in all of sports.

I don’t know why he didn’t go higher that draft. Worst case scenario, He would’ve became an elite 6th man/off the bench scorer, and best case is what we’re seeing now.

I think the knock on him was inefficient. I have no idea in what universe you compare Hezonja and Booked then go…yeah, this flaky white dude who acts like Mike Miller def has more upside.

The thought was when people saw what Jamal did in the playoffs last year, that it would translate to the regular season.

That couple weeks stretch was better than anything Trae had done at that point. But Jamal’s postseason didn’t translate, and Trae has been better outside of that.

What’s up with people still thinking AD is a top 10 player? A batman can’t be a top 10 player in the league. If he was a top 10 player in the league, he would have brought the Pels to the playoffs more often and he would be able to perform better without Lebron on the court.
