So which is it?

Booker puts up stats on a bad team, and Boom calls him empty calories.

Now Booker is balling in his first ever playoffs, and Boom goes all PER and BPM

He’s not even close to that. There is tons of data that show that he is nowhere near one of the absolute best players. You are a victim of a small sample size. You prob ain’t seen but 10 games all year by PHX.

Would you rather a player perform in the regular season and shite in the playoffs or perform in the playoffs?

I know my answer and it's the playoffs. It's where real basketball is played.

Booker is torching teams.

He’s actually worse than Kobe in these playoffs. Kobe was not as great playoff performer as His reputation suggests. Booker PER is 17th of all players in these playoffs. He is not even close to what he is being made out to be.

His PER and BPM have never suggested he was elite, ever. None of his stats do.

We have stats that remove bias and judge all players by the same standards. Booker is good, all star level player, but not close to the truly elite players in the league. He just isn’t and it’s not a knock on him. Only reason I am here is bc it is disrespectful to the great players to put someone like booker on their level.

Someone’s apparently ignoring Booker’s breakthrough’s happening right now, shame he isn’t enjoying this greatness, we knew Booker was capable of this since his 70 point game now he’s putting it all together. Must be a miserable life to hate like this, Boom.

The Trae hate is still going strong on the MSB I see. It's ok to admit that you were wrong, fellas.

It’s not hating on him to say he isn’t a top 10 player. He’s still very, very good.

I get why there’s an inferiority complex from the Hawks point of view with no one giving him credit the last few years, but geez man, cmon

I'm a huge Suns fan and Booker is my favorite current player in the league, but I still don't think he is a top 10 player in the NBA (yet). I think he is somewhere around 15ish. In no particular order, here are 10 players off the top of my head that I have easily ahead of Book:
KD
LeBron
Kawhi
Jokic
Curry
Giannis
Embiid
Dame
Luka
Harden

But the only player above that is younger than Book (24) is Luka (22), so if Book keeps progressing, he can easily be a top 5-10 player for years to come.

Boom looks stupider by the day in light of what BOOKER JUST DID WITH THE GAME ON THE LINE

Jamal Murray and Devin Booker are very close. Both could be top 10 players in a couple of years. Both have shown they can lead their teams against playoff competition. I don't think either one is clearly better than the other.

James Harden is not much better than either of them, except for when it comes to getting fouled.

3 turnover in the last 3 minutes. Yea he showed us. What was he 5-20 with 8 turnovers. I guess one good possession out of 4 is good enough when the bar is that low.

In game 7 Jim Harden was 5-17 with 4 turnovers. But his team lost.

So booker was worse, against a worse team, and he had use of two legs not one.

He was a little bit worse, and his team won. But you hold one guy up as a basketball virtuoso and shite on the other guy.

They are much closer than you want to admit, and their careers are headed in different directions.

Here ya go. Dud trying to compare the two when harden in his first year in HOU was a LOT better than booker this year. I am very thankful to not have the eye test that some of these posters around here have been cursed with.

LOL no one cares about that shite, he stepped up when it mattered most, I’ll give you this, was a bad game for him but greatness is also defined by what you do in the clutch, even if you aren’t having a good game and that’s what he did. He was riding a bad night and hit a HUGE shot at that time, is what it is.
