He says the conference would welcome them back with open arms, per a source within the Big 12. It makes you wonder if they’ll have the balls to jump from the Big Ten back to their original home.

pretty much all comes down to what the contracts say with the big ten and if the conference cancelling the season gives them an out

Nebraska and Mizzou back to Big 12
Penn St to ACC
Georgia Tech to SEC East

You're welcome.

no way any of the eastern division schools would let in their rivals

I wouldn't mind it, could lose to better teams

Like Tulane, they chose to leave the SEC, no take-backs.

There’s a block of teams that I think will vote against instate rivals. UGA UF South Carolina A&M

GT is definitely the least threatening of that group

And they have to be absolutely 100% sure that the season is actually going to kick off before they do it.

They got mad and complained about how Bama cheats. They had a point and I see this as a none issue.

They should go back. They are a worse fit in the big ten than Missouri is in the SEC

Nebraska would be stupid to go back. Big 10 schools get just as much money as SEC schools. Big 12 schools don’t get anywhere near the money Neb gets, except for Texas, which has its own deal.

Nebraska isn’t leaving now, especially when the odds are no one will be playing football this fall anyway.

I’m trying to figure out... how does the Big 10 benefit by telling Nebraska they can’t play in the Big 12 for a season?

It would just piss them off and push them to leave the conference for good.

They do now. But during the next contracts, that will change.

Another wrinkle is now the B10 is basically threatening Nebraska back with “if you try to leave don’t come back” which could make that whole process a lot easier if both sides are motivated to separate

The sausage fest as GaTech would ruin the SECs brand for co-eds

The GT grades would be nice but that’s why they keep those vandy nerds around

Nebraska would get back many rivals. They don’t fit in the Big 10. Plus, they would recruit Texas again. I think it’s possible. They would make more money this year than they would in Big 10, but might lose out on future revenue.

I find it comical that the B10 and ESPN talking heads are saying that Nebraska should be kicked out for wanting to play an unabridged schedule. Crickets when actual issues occur like Penn St, Michigan St, Michigan, Ohio St, Rutgers, Maryland player dies during practice..

Serious question, why the hell does the B10 care when Nebraska has proved they can play safely?
