i bet Big XII would take them back. Easy win, close travel, and since they don't share revenue equally in the Big XII, no money concerns.
I even bet B1G would let them leave. At this point, they have to be a net negative to the B1G.

We mock Aggy a whole lot, for good reason, but the reality is they are far more like an SEC program, than they are like a Big XII program. Some of their traditions are silly, some of their chants are silly, but that could be said about the Grove, cowbells, Tiger Bait, Toomer's Corner, etc.
A&M has a personality, unlike the rest of the Big XII (except for maybe UT and OU).

Colorado has become more like a PAC school than previously, probably due to the state being more like a Left Coast state. Doubt they return.
Nebraska, if terms are right, would probably come back. Their beef with the Longhorns only goes back to the formation of the Big 12.
Missouri probably doesn't go back to the Big 12. If they could grab Nebraska's former Big 10 spot (if it happens) they would explore that route first.
Of course A&M will never return to any conference with the Longhorns barring the Texas Legislature mandating it. Their athletic disputes go back way too far.

A&M is an SEC school. There is no reason for them to go back. Arky and Mizzou would at a minimum listen to offers.

They’ve like Maryland.
Yes, they get decent revenue from the Big 10, but they’ll never be relevant as a football power, they’ll never be able to compete with Ohio State, PSU, or Michigan. They won’t be able to get the recruits. And their schedule is too difficult.

Big 12 - weak
Nebraska - run to another conference because you can't compete in the Big Ten.
Going backwards and lowering the bar is no way to compete for national titles. The cream always rises to the top.

That is shocking to me. I thought the breakup was ugly.
There are multiple things that could have changed in the last 10 years.
-Nebraska might have realized that the grass isn't always greenier on the other side.
-Texas might have realized that the only way it gets to keep the LHN is to stay in the Big12.
-OU might have realized that its best bet is to keep the Big12 together because they do not get into either the PAC-16 or a 16 team Big10 without having to divorce Okie State and they probably do not want to do go through that political fight.
Those are just some of the things that might have changed. However, what we do know is that the other Big12 teams will gladly welcome Nebraska back because it would stabilize the conference, and them avoid the fate of being orphaned out of a top level conference like what happened to UCONN, Cincy, and USF when the Big East fell apart.
Plus both Nebraska and Texas have had a change in leadership since the breakup, and the Big12 has a different commissioner than they did when Nebraska and Colorado bolted.

I'm going to respectfully disagree. I am married to an Aggie. We started dating in the last two years the Aggies were in the Big 12. Aggie is not like the SEC or the Big 12. They are there own, weird thing. I will say that I noticed a drastic change in attire of the coeds on campus when the change to the SEC happened. They went from t-shirts and jerseys to sundresses.

Missouri and A&M are never leaving the SEC. too much money and prestige on the line. Nebraska going back will definitely legitimize the big12 back to 2 or 3rd best league.

Mizzou (even though they are in the SEC East) and A&M won the relocation jackpot when they changed conferences. Some SEC fans (i.e. LSU fans myself included) might complain about the SEC being too Bama friendly (which it is), but the favoritism given to Bama by the SEC is nothing when compared to the problems in some of the other conferences out there.
