Deion has been brutally honest for a long time...pretty much after he found religion. I remember watching his reality show some years ago and he was brutal to the guy that wanted to date his daughter....caught the dude trying to bullshite him and he called him out right there.....and it was not nice.

No, other black coaches can, too.

I wonder how many all American and NFL All Pro QBs came from single mother homes

CFB all Americans would be tough to do due to lack of info, but you could definitely do NFL all pros. If you look at All-pros in the last 20 years, as single mother households are much more common now than 20 years ago, you could do a pretty good survey in a short time

That'd be an interesting thing to research.

Good question.

Deion has been winning off of tough love for his players and everyone else. So many people coddle these star athletes, and he’s speaking honest hard truths. It’s a refreshing style. Many of these players need that influence in their life

Hell, Bret Bielema made it a point to recruit from two parent households when he was at UW. Few off the field problems and academics weren't as much of a issue.

funny enough both the black QBs that just played for the super bowl are dual parent and one is a coach's son

Did he mention race, or is that just you?

Seriously. Thank god he is black and saying that though. That would get real messy.

Well, he may have included it because everyone these days pretends that there aren’t any black, two parent households.

He is going to get push back from some single parents whose kids want to be QBs for this..

But it is pretty much stating the obvious. Many of your skill position players in college played QB in HS especially the ones who were the best non lineman player on the team, but in college you don't want your QB freelancing on every play not knowing what the hell what he will do.

But at least he put the message out there "if you are a QB from a single parent home with a GPA less than 3.5 no need to waste each other's time"

Most school website I have seen include that info in the bios on each player on the roster.

If I get some time later today, I’ll mess around with it and see what the data points to. Definitely interested in the results, although I’m pretty confident in what the data will reveal

That's what flies under the radar. Unless you've got the skins on the wall like Prime does, you ain't getting away with this approach.

Personally, I want all my croots to be from single mama homes and going through it except the QB.

So what does it mean when the QB doesn't speak with his family?
