I don’t hate it but this off season has been disappointing

Yeah I’m not denying that. Just don’t mind him as purely a place holder and on that contract I think he knows what it is too. If he outperforms it great we need a lefty

As I’ve said before, I coached against Wade when he was in high school. He’s had a pretty good run in the majors, and he’s likely near the end of it. One thing I know about him is that he is a team guy, and he will absolutely battle when he’s on the hill.

Cheap arm. We needed depth. Poor man's keuchel.

I can see that and with how creative the brewers were with him last year you gotta think that if/when we make a couple call ups or moves gotta think he’d be cool going to the pen and getting asked to get one tough lefty one day and then 2 innings the next night. If he’s anything close to last year then this is a very good move

Smart signing with young stud arms ready to take rotation spots. Miley could end up as a great long reliever or lefty-specialist down the stretch and in the playoffs.

So Keuchel and Morton have been turned into McHugh and Miley. Mehh.

He pitched well enough for the Brewers last year but it'd seem more likely he returns like the average to below average pitcher he's been the rest of his career. I'll never doubt Strom's coaching abilities but well see if he turns out to much more than a left handed place holder in the rotation.

This was expected. Just have to make the playoffs, after that it’s a crap shoot

As it stands now the 25 man roster is not playoff material.

Fortunately, the rest of the AL West isn't either.

According to you, the roster hasn’t been playoff material since ‘99

Meh is an understatement.

Unless James or Frambar has some sort of breakout year, I don’t like this starting rotation whatsoever. So top-heavy that it’s not even funny

Whitley will be part of the rotation by June and is the best pitching prospect in baseball

I still wish we had found a way to keep Chuck though

I understand that we're gonna win the West and we could make moves during the trade deadline, but I am very disappointed with our off season for sure. Don't get me wrong I do like Wade Miley, and it's nice to have a decent enough left handed arm, but I figured we would do more than this during the off season. They must figure that Josh James, Framber Valdez, etc. are good enough young arms to bridge us to Whitley and Bukauskas

This board would be incredible. Almost as good as the rockets winning it all
