Lawd this team fricking sucks.

Lose and get only 1 run against one of the worst teams in baseball at home?

Lose 2 of 3 to the Mariners who can't beat anybody either, including fricking 22-0 last night?

I would say thank God the division also stinks, but I rather it didn't. Don't want another embarrassment in the Wild Card round to the Tigers or something.

22-0 is hilarious. We haven't scored 22 runs in the last week

Bro, they raked last night what with three hits and all. Remember just the other day when they only got two hits? Three hits is an improvement of 50%!

I didn’t think we had all that great a plate approach even before August, but I wonder if it is just a coincidence that things really started to nosedive right after the game planner/offensive coordinator took off for Wake Forest.

“Chuckie Caufield, a special advisor and roving hitting coordinator who joined the Astros organization in 2024, will assume some of Hennigan’s responsibilities with the major-league staff, Espada said.”

It's just natural regression, especially Pena. We saw it with Cocksuck, who made adjustments with Hennigan that led to a hot start but he reverted to his career averages.

I'm sure it has played some role in it but these guys look like they've never played baseball before at the plate.

Just a decidedly average team in the worst division in baseball

I left Houston 9 days ago for vacation and when I wake up I check the scores... actually a couple of times, I woke up at 5am to check out and move to next city and we were still playing.

It's so bad that I turned off 790am post game show.

Mike in Humble pretty much nailed it on his call to Matt Thomas.

Since May 4th when I was batting a season high .317, I've gone on to hit .198/.275/.390/.665 over 87 games and 357 plate appearances. I suck at hitting baseballs. Who am I?

I didn’t. I’m tired of hearing from Imai, who Rome seems to love giving a forum.

We get it. Imai has sucked, he misses home, he misses his woobie. There’s no reason to provide a recap of Imai’s season in August when that’s been done at least monthly already.

Bro makes $18 mil a year to figure out the culture, the mounds, the routines, etc. Do it or go home.

It's like someone in the league told them they had to slow down. How do you go from so hot to suckie so fast?

Varsho is about the only deal this team deserved

It should have been shredded

At least we took Arrighetti (a disaster) out of the equation

Everybody wants to hold on to hopium, but reality will still be there to punch you in the mouth

And I say this knowing where you stand. The only joy in following at this point is attempting to foresee the outcome of owner vs owners vs players. LOL

Welp, JP may be dead again because he swung at a 100 MPH bowling ball at his hand.

I know the pitching is good across the league, but good Lord it seems like it’s twice a week they are facing heavy 97 mph fastballs from the right side with a plus secondary pitch
