Been catching the weekday games the following morning, holy hell these mfers are horrendous. And it’s all of them. I’ve posted this previously, but they’ll get “hot” and score 5 or more runs for one game and then back to being useless. As brutal as the walk was to lose, giving up only one run and losing is almost criminal.

this is the kind of talk that infuriates me. It's not as if the whole team is in a slump. These guys are who they are. No, they aren't going to break out of it and start lighting up the scoreboard. The biggest reason the June run happened was pitching, not some high powered offense.

A SHO like last night can happen and it stings when you have a missed call at home, a ball caught over the wall, but it's the 4 SHO's in 5 games, it's the leading the league in swinging at 1st pitch, and just the general approach that makes them unwatchable.
Add in OFers running around looking like circus acts with a unicycle as the only thing missing. I remember the Rangers looking like this many times this year and thinking what I'm thinking now.
