At this point I don't even give a shite about the homestand anymore. It was a disaster but We've got a 2 game lead headed into a huge road trip. This trip can do a lot toward securing the division lead.
I'm just glad they got the bad feels off their back and scored some runs in a win which has got to feel good for them. Plus reinforcements aren't far off. Springer is back Friday, Devo next week and McCann not long after and hopefully Altuve soon. I really want to believe our guys are going to get healthy and get things rolling soon.

It will be interesting to see what happens after we got Springer and Altuve back and McCann back. I don’t like the fact that our two bench OF are left handed behind left handed Reddick. I also kinda want to see Tyler playing more often, maybe DH instead of Gattis occasionally.

There's some playoff decisions to be made but all the moves you're talking about can be dealt with in the interim. We're 2 weeks away from expanded rosters. So somebody may have to go back to Fresno for like a week.

I would almost be in favor of replacing a pitcher with a hitter in the post-season. There are way more dependable arms in the pen this year than last year. Not having McCullers as the "swing guy" might alter that thinking though.
