Altuve may get the biggest ovation ever in his first home AB off the DL.

A 1 game lead in the division does wonders for medical purposes.

Healing is infinitely faster.

4 guys we can't get updates on will miraculously be on the roster in less than 4 days.

Hard headed management will need immediate exceptional play to make the playoffs.

IT's true. My sore throwing elbow feels much better now that I'm hurling things at the TV during Astros games every night.

All of these returning aren’t going to make a difference

They still all suck

Came here to post the same damned thing. Ludlow and Hunch playing with fire, let’s see if they (and all of us) get burned.

Really, they don't suck. Far from it.

But they sure lack motivation and surely miss the normal offseason that was pre-empted to put that ring on their finger.

All part of what makes them not like the Cubs. Ask Kid Keuchel. He knows a thing or none about repeating.

Good news about the injury side is that outside of McCullers, everyone should be back in the next week or two. Who knows when Altuve will be back, but I have a feeling how badly we need him, he's gonna push through sooner than later. Springer probably back Friday, McCann likely in 1-2 weeks, Devo in a few days (less than a week). Nevertheless I feel like once we get everyone back though, our division lead could be gone. Maybe getting Springer back will spark a fire under their arse though.

If they feel good enough about him that he's running, hitting and fielding then a rehab assignment shouldn't be too far off. I imagine he'll have a day of rest tomorrow and maybe get ready for rehab by the end of the weekend.

From there I'd expect the same schedule as Correa. Partial games, DHing and then a ramp up to 9 inning games. So maybe by next weekend he could he activated.

I know it’s asking a lot but a win tonight and a 3 game sweep of Oakland and we’d be sitting pretty again

Yeah that is huge. Very very very huge. Nice to see the A's come down top earth a little. Like Fiddlehead said if we can win tonight, then somehow get a sweep in Oakland, I would feel a lot better with a 5 game lead. And even though the Mariners swept us, I'm still not worried about them. They can't seem to beat anyone else, losing series, and their starting pitching is horrible, especially now with Paxton on the DL.

Some good news, seems like he’s back on track after missing most of the season
