Darvish was working out and throwing left-handed for fun at Dodger Stadium today. Check out the t-shirt...

He's still tipping. You can see him take the ball out and put it back in on the change.

An opening day rotation of Keuchel, Verlander, Darvish, McCullers, Morton would be pretty nasty.

There were so many moments you can pull from Games 2 and 5.

Could be low risk high reward depending on the deal. If he’s playing DH he might be able to actually stay healthy as well

I'd love Cargo in a platoon with Gattis

I've really enjoyed watching him play here in Denver over the years. He's still a good player, just got overshadowed by the newer studs on the team, Arenado and Blackmon.

I'd love a 2 year deal for him with a team option for Year 2. Don't know if I'm dreaming though

Here are the results of this year's overall prospect poll from MLB execs:

Shohei Ohtani, RHP/OF, Angels 10
Ronald Acuna, OF, Braves 8
Vladimir Guerrero Jr., 3B, Blue Jays 1
Eloy Jimenez, OF, White Sox 1
Fernando Tatis Jr., SS, Padres 1
Forrest Whitley, RHP, Astros 1

1 full season as a 19 year old and already making the list

Hard no on Cargo. He's never been particularly good away from Coors field. .250 BA and OBP barely over .300. And that's before his skills started to decline.

Time to sign Yu, help him stop tipping pitches, and then trade for Yelich and Realmuto from the Marlins.

Yeah, I tend to agree. I mean, CarGo is a good platoon partner for DH with Gattis in theory. But why not give Moran a chance? Luhnow kept faith in the guy when most gave up on him so letting him go (which they reportedly almost did for Britton) when he finally is showing promise may be regrettable.

That said, maybe I just don't like our overall track record with acquisitions of veteran outfielders named Carlos.
