I had a huge mea culpa last year on bregman. I own my mistake. Glad to be dead wrong.

What a great signing by Luhnow
Unbelievable how important Morton ended up being. Those final innings he ate up were amazingly clutch. Bullpen would have squandered that lead so that performance was money.

Not just the final Innings. His 2 starts against the Yankees were really good. Terribly unlucky in the first One at Yankee stadium. Also pitched dominant baseball In game 4 against the Dodgers and got no decision. You could argue he was our best pitcher in the post season.

World Series Champions.....it still doesn't seem real. Someone tell me this isn't a dream, like when JR got shot on Dallas...

We’ve come full circle.
From Ludlow and Hunch
To Luhnow and a highly sought after manager

Astros win MLB award for philanthropic excellence

The Astros Community Leaders Program is a great example of the difference that all of our clubs are making in their communities."

I won't believe we don't get New Yorked until Altuve's name is called.

Remember they had all but handed the award to Judge by midseason and the voting takes place before the post season. What had Judge done for them lately?
September: .311/.463/.899 7 doubles 15HR 32RBI 28BB 32K
Reinforced the preexisting bias just ahead of the voting.
I'm hopeful Altuve's consistency wins it. But I'm skeptical of the voters until further notice

I agree, hopefully he wins it but I’m hesitant to say he will due to all the Judge love that took place this season.

He won't be the first true MVP to not get the award.
Hell, Trout should have what, 4 MVP's by now?
Here's a happy thought... my prediction for next season at this time: The discussions on who will win will be an exact duplicate of this year. With the exception of "Judge" will be replaced with "Correa".

Such a shame that Correa got hurt. He was on fire before the injury. With the 6 weeks he missed, he could have easily been at something like .320 with 30+ homers and 100 RBI.

Yes, and don't forget, Bregman was absolute poop the first couple of months.
The only players I see any type of regression for next year are Reddick and maybe Marwin.
My early predictions: Altuve finishes next season with a BA at .370 with 90 RBI's and 100+ runs scored. Correa will be around .320 with 100+ RBI's and 100+ runs scored. Bregman and Gurriel will clean up driving in Correa.
Gold Gloves for Altuve and Bregman.
I think Verlander keeps this young group hungry for another WS ring.
