Why not .485? If he can do it in 1 month, he can do it in all 6.

I expect a very bad hangover in March/April. They aren’t getting the rest or the reps that they would normally get this time of year.

Think about it, they have been partying, traveling, doing tv/radio hits, etc every day since the series. I think this team will be awesome next year but not in April.

We will have some great DATs about how verlander is done, altuve has peaked and bregman has settled back into being a .240 hitter. Book it

I was looking at the 2018 schedule and I noticed the Stros have five off days in August. Five. Even off on a Wednesday.

Don't know if I've ever seen that.

Also, playing three regular season games in March? There have only been two occasions where I can remember the Stros playing a regular season game in March.

March 31, 1998 vs Giants (I was there, 9-4 13 innings vs Orel Herschiser).

March 31, 2013 vs Rangers (I was there, Sunday Night Baseball win, 8-2).

Congrats to Jose! Thought it would be closer. I guess it shows consistency matters.

Is this the same franchise that was Baseballs bad joke. Within the last 2 years we've had

3 Gold Glove Awards
4 Silver Slugger Awards
Rookie of the Year
Cy Young winner
MVP
World Series MVP
World Series title

If it’s the same old writers who vote for the hall of fame I can see Jose winning by a lot because those old dudes still care about average and strikeouts.
