Javier about to shove it down their throats tonight. 7 innings from CJ tonight. I think Alvarez and Tucker prefer Nola pitching. I feel like they can hit better off of him. I think he works more into their favor potentially. Altuve has to see those fastballs running in on him and lay off. If he does that, I think he can do some damage as well.

He says “melt” when he’s coming in to another fans message thread to post random irrelevant crap from his head

Guess he doesn’t have any fellow Braves fans to chat with our something. Get some friends and group message or something it’s not hard dude

Reading through Twitter, Dustys decision making has become a narrative of this world series for the talking heads. Not surprising to any of us.

Eh, I don't agree with using Stanek there, but Urquidy definitely needed the rust knocked off in case we need him later in the series.

Urquidy should have come in down 4-0 and hoped the bats woke up

LMJ in the 4th worked but that was clearly playing with a live wire. Bringing him back out in the 5th was an on the spot firable offense

All of this. And I'll add... Stanek should have started the 10th in Game 1. You absolutely have to throw flames and shut the lineup down early. Dusty was playing the "what if it goes 16 innings" game when he should have been, "let's shut them down and win it in the 10th".

Absolutely correct. Bringing Luis in there with plenty of bullpen arms available and rested was dumb.

He’s been pretty bad this series. Game 1 and sending JV back out/using Garcia is where it really hurts right now. Last night is one we were just never winning

True, but he still didn’t need to put Stanek out there to put an inning on him and give them a look at him.

That’s fair. The flip side is Stanek has had so little work (partially on Dusty of course) that you want him sharp if you need him today or tomorrow. I’m not sure it makes a huge difference either way.
