If Tucker can break out of his slump, the Astros will win tonight.

Mute the TV and turn on 90.9 KTSU radio-- smooth, relaxing jazz and positive mojo for Astro baseball!

It's not just a playoff slump. He's been slumping for 2+ months. Dating back to mid August after he came back from that mystery illness where he missed the Mariners series, he's hitting .220
Seems like something is just off with him. His swing is a mess. Roll overs and popups

Small play to keep me interested. I hope it's close and causes heart attacks all around.

If Tucker can break out of his slump,
—Huge IF. But I didn’t think Nola would be run off the mound by the D Backs

The DAT is LSU/any other fan site Score Board times 162, plus playoff games. Nothing more extreme. If the Rangers had enough dedicated fans on MSB to have a daily thread, you’d probably see the same thing there.
Most of us are ecstatic about the last few years but frustrated by a manager who chooses feel and emotion over making logical and informed decisions.

I have no knowledge outside of instinct and intuition, but Tucker’s mannerisms, along with the unexplained absences (more than once) lead me to believe they were/are mental health related
Eye sight would be a distant second
His defensive drop off almost as dramatic as his plate appearances. Just in this series, he misplayed both HR balls before proving that he should have caught them with that last snag. Then there was the one in Arlington he misplayed over his head

Tonight is one of those games where I have no gut feelings on how it's going to go.
I just hope the Astros win.
frick the Rangers.

Pretty likely. He’s always been an odd cat. Seems socially awkward to a fault. He has plenty of physical quirks, as well (bowling pin).

Can we make this the universal sig line for all DATers?
Might as well.
The last few years Dusty has managed the playoffs well aside from sticking with Maldy over the significantly better Vazquez... but we all know he loves Maldy irrationally.
This year he has carried the regular season lunacy over to the playoffs.

Any of y’all got a bead on where to get that Kate Upton Astros sweater

I’m good whatever the outcome is tonight. If we can’t win one game at home on the doorstep of the WS, we don’t belong this year.
Regardless, honor and privilege this year, guys.

I don’t see an NLCS thread so I’ll say it here. The “talent” in the Philly stands are exceedingly untalented.

Adios Baker and Maldonado.

I've got a good feeling about tonight, or maybe it's just the Jack Daniels.
