lol Astros blah blah blah whatever. I've melted and I'm already over it.

Tigers made every play and played team baseball. Astros played like they did for 80% of the season and luckily 162 they were able to out talent and get back in it.

Kudos to the Tigers, when you are hot you are hot. Now can just sit back and root against the Yankees and the Dodgers. Loser teams don't deserve to advance.

Well what a perfect cap on the season. Who celebrates more tonight? Detroit fans or Yankees fans?

Also, they REALLY need to trade Pressly.

We'd have to give away prospects for a team to eat that contract.

But, I agree. Trade Tucker, Framber, and whatever else we can get value for to start the rebuild.

We'll be paying Mccullers, Jose Abreu, Montero, Hader, and Pressly about $82mm next year for about 1.0 WAR if we're lucky

There's at least a 50/50 chance we can trick someone into taking Pressly as a closer.

Nobody is gonna trade for a guy who just showed the world he’s washed up. We’ve seen it all year. His stuff just isn’t what it was 2 years ago

Meanwhile, let Brown go with his youngins. Melton and Matthews will be up soon.

All the advantages in the world:

1) Experienced team
2) At home
3) Your best pitcher since May on the mound
4) Bullpen game by your opponent.

And STILL lost the game. Fun season still, but what an absolute KOALA shite ending to the season. I mean absolute koala shite.

I'll have my off season thoughts later but Holy Moses they have A LOT of work to do.

Is it better to lose in the ALCS, or in get swept in the WC round? Asking for a friend. Somewhere, Dusty Baker is laughing....

Good season, DAT people. Definitely not up to y’all’s expectations. Hope springs eternal. I expect y’all to be movers and shakers in the offseason. 2025 will be a very interesting year, to say the least.
