I have serious issues with Espada going forward. I know he came cheap, and that's all that matters to Crane, but he's out of his depth. He's a Bench Coach

Bregman’s last game with the Astros?

Resign Bregman and trade Tucker
Posted on 10/2/24 at 4:15 pm to LSUBoo
I just want Tucker traded this offseason. It's the responsible thing to do.
ETA: Of course, there are morons who think differently.
Also, they REALLY need to trade Pressly.

When multi-million dollar contracts are fully guaranteed, this is the result.
No incentive to play harder.

Jake Rogers spraying base hits all over the place against good pitchers while Tuck and Tuve go 0fer really says it all.
Bullpen absolutely deserves all the blame for this game, but the runs scored in this series have been from a bleeder between 1st and 2nd, a misplay on a forceout by the catcher, and a sac fly on a ball that travelled 197 feet.

Dubon has looked completely silly on the last three balls out there. Loafs to the double to let all three score, spin like a top to make a lucky catch for out three in the eighth, freeze and wear one off the chin on the line drive.

Am I crazy for thinking fricking Hader was a bigger waste of money than Montero or Abre-Poo, you know, two also overpriced guys not on the team anymore?
Posted on 10/2/24 at 4:18 pm to Floating Change Up
I don't think Crane and Bagwell could survive not resigning Bregman, especially if he ended up in SoCal or NYC.

Is it possible these idiots think this is a 5 game series? Thats possible, right?

I disagree with this completely. You can't judge a man's ability to tread water, much less win a gold medal when you cut off both of his legs at the knees and shackle him with 200 pounds of dead weight.

Hader was misused by Espada all year. Non save disasters abounded
Posted on 10/2/24 at 4:20 pm to A Menace to Sobriety
Hader was a very stupid investment by a meddling owner.
Posted on 10/2/24 at 4:21 pm to Jwho77
Hader is making a fool of himself. Just as Pressly did. And Bagwell, Crane, Espada, and Tucker.

The only other experienced choice was Neris.
Of course, a poor manager thought Pressly was still worthy of the main setup role when functional eyes and data said otherwise.

Hinch started and ended this dynasty. Sigh

How many total pitches does it take for Vest to end this?

Hader and Pressly. A productive twosome of dick eaters.
