I agree.

However after looking at the different angles and still pics he got lucky and made the right call.

Betts is 2 to 3 feet from the wall reaching back. Fans are up to the wall reaching forward. The more I see of it, the more I think they reached into the field of play to make initial contact.

Did you complete 9th grade geometry? Doesnt sound like it.

Look at white shirt old guy. He is clearly leaning over and his hands are even with the fan who made contact

No one is going to convince anyone else that their side is right.

The call sucks/is great depending on your fandom, let’s move on

You don't get fan interference when you go into the stands. So fricking what if the fan closed his glove.

I could care less who wins or if the call was right or wrong. I just posted the pics of what I saw. So fricking what

To me, it looks like Mookie went to catch it, began the interaction with the fan somewhere over the wall (either a couple inches before or couple inches after) and then the ball wasn't caught.

I just can't believe anyone is saying the fan caused the glove to close. Unless his hand is a rat trap and springs shut at the slightest touch, he closed his glove all by himself.

And he was in the stands.

frick this gay earth.

They’ve already got this guy’s name and face on Twitter. It ain’t Moises Alou out here going nuts. Think we can not blame him.

In what world do you think posting any angle of picture that isn’t straight down the wall is definitive proof either way?

Feel free to tell me what you disagree with. Lame arse remarks attempting to insult my intelligence does nothing. I'm pretty fricking smart, just so you know.

The fence interfered with Springer's opportunity to catch the ball. Benintendi is out.
