Your point could be one of several.
At the end of the day, he is 0-1 for 2021 like half the other quarterbacks will be despite their pay.

McCarthy is underpaid. Loved how aggressive he was at the end of the half, letting a kicker with a bad back try the 60 yarder. He knows when to play it safe and when to go balls out.

Tampa was in the bottom half of the league in pass defense last year.
Dak is a decent mid-tier NFL QB that gets WAY to much press in relation to his ability.

I absolutely despise the Cowboys. However, I really wish that price cost we’re back of the same. Did you not see those absolute darts he threw last night through multiple vendors and hit his receiver in the hands?
Even as a rookie is never been a turnover pro player and now he’s absolutely leading up the league with some talented receivers.
How can anyone think he’s overrated?
No one has him as a top 3 QB

He played extremely well last night. I'm not a Cowboys fan and always thought he was overrated but he made some incredible throws last night. He's much better than I give him credit for.

Cowboys better find a running game. Dak played very well, but making a habit of 50+ pass attempts a game is a recipe for disaster.

Dak and his WR's get paid based on production, they will put up big stats and make a bunch of money, people will buy their jerseys, and fans will watch. Sure nobody likes losing, but not everybody is truly committed to winning up there, its a business.
