Mario will get them back to the top 10 on a regular basis. He's tearing it up in recruiting. I question his gameday coaching but he'll get the talent where it needs to be.

The sport has changed too much… and the U has been down too long
Everyone except Notre Dame used to recruit in state back when Miami was good. Now the whole P5 recruits in Miami

I hope so. Clemson sleepwalking their way through a high school level ACC schedule every year for a decade has gotten old. FSU seems to be coming aroudn a bit but man it'd be nice for the ACC to get some more consistent challengers yearly.

Three words: John Ruiz NIL
Miami has $ to spend now and the school is finally taking athletics seriously again thanks to Mario.

LOL - After the '93 Sugar Bowl Miami went 36-11 the next 4 seasons and finished in the top 20 4x including 3X in the top 15.
When LSU beat Miami in the 2005 Peach Bowl, Miami went 28-23 the next 4 seasons and didn't get back in the top 20 until that 4th season (2009) at #19.

I remember watching this play as a kid and thinking it was so awesome.

I was at that game as a kid. I had a poster from it hanging on the wall next to my bed. It was destroyed in the 2016 flood.

Not sure why so upset. Miami was the undisputed team of the 80s and early 90s but it came to an abrupt stop

Watched it at legends in NYC. The game was so out of control that the place just turned into a party with the occasional look at the TV when we scored more

I guess bc Miami did recover around 2001

And then they literally had teammates murdering each other the next season.

And we won the postgame fight
Good times

Didn’t the whole Miami team want to fight Dwayne Bowe at the end?

One of the best plays ever that didn’t count. Bama was offsides.

Joseph Addai one of my all time favorites

Joseph Addia was amazing that game. #9 vs #10 it was the highest ranked matchup in Peach Bowl history.
