So it's $9 a year? If site has great info and up to date score, it's worth it.

$9 a month is steep.

Did he take the tweet down? Throwing shade on your largest customer base is about as smart as trying to charge $10 for scores.

It's a yearly price. They also have pretty good articles that go up weekly during the season. It sucks not beinf free anymore but it's really the only news source that covers college baseball. Worth it IMO.

They have articles. Fitt is talented, but Kendall writes at a high school level.

Charging for the scoreboard because “it’s hard work” is ridiculous. Hundreds of college baseball games on WatchESPN is hard work. Fitt and Kendall would actually have to work if ESPN decided to directly charge viewers for that product.

Warrennolan.com is where I go for college baseball scores. Good for basketball also.

$10 is just for scoreboard access. Or you pay $14/month for everything, or an annual fee of $99 for everything

$10/year is something that sounds cheap but then you realize what's the point of even charging that amount for scoreboard access.

It's not even worth taking the time to put my credit card information on the site.

I've loved D1baseball but this just sounds like bullshite

Yeah I'll figure something else out. No way I'm paying that to a weasel like Fitt.

I'll give Warrennolan.com a look. I love College Baseball, but I am not paying just to check some scores. Hey if they want to do that the more power to them though. I still think it's crap. Guess I'll delete D1Baseball from my favorites

I used to follow along with scores on d1baseball during every lsu game because it was one of the only sites that loaded quickly and had all the scores. Then they went through the redesign and the scoreboard barely loaded and became a pain to look at during games. And now they want to charge $10/year for that? No thanks.

And frick Aaron Fitt for his condescending "everyone likes getting stuff for free". Where else do you have to pay to look at a scoreboard?

They're likely trying to cover the pay for all those writers they've hired that aren't bringing in the number of subscriptions they hoped for.

He'd maybe have a point if the scoreboard actually worked, but it's buggy as all hell now.

I've been having a subscription to D1 Baseball since they re-launched it with content originally. That's not going to change. I like the content they put out and am okay with the price.

I haven't used their scoreboard since the relaunch though. I've switched to warren Nolan for that because it's a better look. The old D1 Baseball, or NCAA-Baseball before they were forced to change, had a great scoreboard layout. The current one just doesn't do it for me.

For $10, they better have fixed that shitty unadaptable to phone layout and gotten some good stats thrown on each game as well.
They are definitely trying to make up fpr overhiring. I hope no one buys that package. If people refuse itll go back to being free

Anyone have any idea how D1baseball is updating their scores? Are they scraping that data from other sites (automatic process) or are they manually finding the scores and updating them?
