Agree. I put him on there more as a joke. When I see fans freak out about a coach in a down year, I usually don’t agree with their “chop his head off” mentality. Elko is catching a ton of heat, though. He’s probably safe this year, but he better start winning. They’ve got a ton of money and less sense so he’s on the hot seat next year if he’s not careful

They were so excited for him they let him coach the bowl game and run his offense after two weeks of practice. Then he sucked and was fired before the end of his first season.

Lane Kiffin with the Raiders (fired after 20 games), Tennessee (7-6 record) and USC (fired 5 games into 4th season)
Obviously he’s been much better since being the Alabama OC, but he was extremely underwhelming in his first 3 head coaching gigs.
