Colin Cowherd's rant on the SEC, the South, and how the Pac-12 is awesome

Did you see how they did in bowl games? USC won, UCLA won, Arizona State won, Utah won, Arizona could have. Anybody noticed the first round last night? NINE Pac-12 players. More than the SEC. Interesting. Last 2 or 3 years. The Pac-12 Southern division is the best division in college football right now. By the way, USC just had a great recruiting class. So did Arizona, so did UCLA.
I know, Southern guy, that's TOUGH! That stings! But you gotta be honest, last year, A&M and Auburn, had arguably the worst defenses in the country. Both Mississippi schools had embarassing quarterbacks.
Look at the draft. Look at what NFL GM's are saying. The Pac-12 has got a lot of good players. In fact, the "great" SEC-West... ooooh, it's soooo dominant... you know how many guys they had in the first round last night? Actually, one... Amari Cooper. Oh wait, they had that offensive lineman from Texas A&M, he was a 5th year senior. He was recruited when they were in the Big 12. He doesn't count.
I know that's hard for a guy in Tuscaloosa. It's over. By the way, the Pac-12 not only has nicer places to live: Pacific ocean... but they've got better players now. You're gonna have to deal with that. Sorry. And, Pac-12 also gets Palo Alto, Berkley, L.A. brah, TEMPE! (now using Southern hick voice) You get Starksville!

He's a one man show, sometimes he goes over the top trying to prove his point.
Is the SEC as dominant as it was 5 years ago? No, but it's still widely considered the top league in college football.
I don't know if he's noticed, but Pac-12 teams aren't exactly winning championships either right now.

He has the same routine say something to stir the pot and let the reaction carry his program. That one long statement will now carry his show since he really is not good at talking sports. I mean the end of his rant literally was about geography...not sports.

Meh. I don't go out of my way to listen to Cowherd, but statements like this irritate me. The guy goes 3 hours a day, every single day, with no cohost. That has got to be a pain in the butt, and he still gets good enough ratings to keep his show.
