I forgot how much better football was back then.

This game was littered with Hall of Famers!

Plus you had Madden & Summerall calling the game.

Pure greatness!

Niners won the Super Bowl that season over Stan Humphries’ Chargers. I got to go the MNF to see Saints vs Niners. Niners won it 35-14. Deion Sanders returned an interception 74 yards for the last TD.

That 49ers team was absolutely stacked. The only negative is that Dana Stubblefield turned out to be evil.

And none of the annoying and unnecessary graphics on the field.

I was there! was a wee lad but i was there. went to high tops before the game. i was 11. No one thought that was weird. Remember sitting club level by one of the end zones. had binoculars and could see Steve Youngs eyes. dude was a stone cold killer. also did some running around on the ramps. could always count on that place being grounds for an impromptu football game. good times.

The 49ers did beat the Saints 35-14 on MNF in NOLA that season; however, that Sanderd INT for a TD was earlier in the season, a Sunday afternoon game at Candlestick. I remember because my pops and I were listening to the game in the truck on our way back from the camp.

Correct. If I recall correctly Deion did have a pick in the MNF game and returned it a good ways, but it was not for a TD. Maybe that's what the OP is think of.

Also looked it up after reading the same post. He basically got away with raping a disabled woman because he's black. California is a deeply evil state.

I guess you forgot about the ‘95 Cowboys. Who also added Deion to a stacked roster, won their third SB in four years, then immediately started getting decimated by the salary cap.

The 1994 49ers are an underrated Super Bowl champion. Once they gelled around midseason, few teams have played at as high a level.

Isn't that when they decided to go all out to win a title knowing they'd be in salary cap hell a few years later
