Her purpose is to be good looking enough to hold your gaze for the 30 second “interview” that she’s giving the coach in which nothing is actually said.
Literally her entire job is to be hot. That is it.

You wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. That’s how of little importance they are. Furthermore, I have to do that on a daily basis with actual news reporters.
Again, her job is to be hot. And she does a good job of it.

Her job is to interview the coach, she made up shite when the coach wasn't available. Did anyone actually believe that they were interviewing the coach and sometimes the cameraman just forgot to press record? Or that he wanted to have a heart to heart with the sideline reporter and just bounce some ideas off her about how the team could improve in the 2nd half.
It's fairly obvious if you don't see her interview the coach on camera, she didn't get a chance to talk to him at half time
