Having two teams is like having two QBs.

Move 7 to 2 and then cut off everything after #3.

#8 exists but only in short term spurts. It really doesn't fall under allegiance.

I dunno Trey I'm making it up as I go, I really don't give a shite.

I just think being a fan of multiple teams is fricking weird

Don't forget the Alabama football/Kentucky basketball fan on here.

I root for Michigan in all sports. And yes the building the old business school was in is named after my great grandfather.

OK following this list:

1. My alma mater (UT-Arlington) dropped football in 1985 and has no plans to bring it back (though we could have one heck of a home field with Jerryworld).
2. Since I work as a civilian DoD employee, does this automatically drop me to #8 on the list? If so, which service academy (since our agency serves all branches)?
3. I never went to grad school.
4. My mom grew up in Nazi Germany and my Dad dropped out in the 6th grade.
5. My SO went to Texas Woman's University. They don't play football either.
6. I'm an only child.
7. Since I made it this far I can pick A&M.
8. I'll stick with Florida Atlantic. After all their work has made it to two films (Dolphin Tale and Dolphin Tale 2).

Why would someone with so many connections to Michigan go to alabama?

how exactly would state having a team "get in the way" of pulling for someone else?

Self-loathing (from not getting into UGA/Tech) probably. Personally I think the mental gymnastics behind that rationale are ridiculous, but they're there.

Also, a lot of students (mostly hipsters) resent having the program because of the team's poor record and that 80% of the budget comes from a mandatory student athletic fee.

My HS grades wernt very good and Michigan is super expensive OOS. Parents told me they would only pay as much as the most expensive instate school. Bama OOS was the same as Miami instate. Was tired of snow. Went to Bama.

How about where you currently live? That is definitely a factor. Nothing worse than the doucher who has lived somewhere for 10 years but roots against local teams for no reason. It's fun to root for the local teams for tons of reasons.

but had I not gotten in and had to go elsewhere for education, I damn sure wouldn't have put that school above UGA

pshhhhh

I grew up in a huge UNC family and didn't get in.

Went to WVU and thats my school. When we played each other I was WVU full and full while the family rooted for UNC.

LSU - undergrad

SU/TSU - mom/dad's respective undergrad

Baylor - cousin is a student there, so I should be close to being a fan under such criteria.

UGA - once had a letter (not an acceptance letter) from there back in HS. Was kinda cool at the time.

What about this?:

Grew up in Lousiana until age 12. LSU football was garbage yet became a fan in about 1995. First love was LSU baseball (sport I always played).

Moved to Oklahoma right before high school. Never pulled for OU or Okie State. Went to college at small private school for college due to receiving large scholarship there and continued to passionately pull for LSU. In college, I would come down for 1-2 games a year in Baton Rouge.

College grad from a non-NCAA school that's pulled for LSU ever since I was 8 or so.

But it forgot the most important role, #3 team - whoever is playing notre dame that week.
