This game is so overrated because of the hype around it.

Michigan spent most of the day trying to play catch-up from two scores down. At no point did it feel like they'd be able to stop Ohio State enough to actually win.

LSU 9, Alabama 6 in OT

The hype leading up to that game was ridiculous and everyone knew that those 2 teams were on a completely different level than anyone else in the country that year. The original GOTC lived up to all of the hype.

Most satisfying as an LSU fan. But removing my purple and gold glasses, I wouldn't say this was the best game of the year. LSU was up 20 at halftime and even when Bama rallied late, their offense never had the ball with a chance to take the lead or tie in the 2nd half. The Iron Bowl was a better game that year.

LSU UF was better than App State Michigan. I also think Texas AM vs LSU 7OT game is overrated.

2019 LSU beating Texas was probably a better game than the actual beatdown that LSU put on Bama.

UCF and especially USF making this list while no UF is wild.

I’d go with TN/UF. Two top five teams with the SEC East and inside track to the national title game on the line. 34-32 final. Stars all over the field. From the second quarter on, neither team had more than a one possession lead.

Funny thing is, they actually had it down to a 4-pt OSU lead late in the fourth quarter and were about to get the ball back. But then Shawn Crable got called for a helmet to helmet hit on Troy Smith that gave OSU an automatic first down. That play was on 3rd and 15 and Smith’s pass was incomplete. They would have gotten the ball back with a chance to win it if not for that penalty.

Two games where I was bewildered and confused what the safeties were doing in the closing seconds....

#12 for Texas and the Minneapolis Miracle.

It definitely wasn’t better than UGA vs. GT.

Michigan-OSU led to the "nobody wants to see a rematch" hype for the BCS game.
After the 9-6 game, it was "Bama deserves a rematch".

My favorite stat from than game is that UT’s Jalin Hyatt had 5 TDs and 207 yards receiving. With 6 catches

3 appearance on the list and people say the Iron Bowl isn't the best rivalry.

Nah, the SECCG between Bama and UGA was an absolute heavyweight fight. One of the top-5 games I've ever watched.
