Of course you can’t.

So why pay him? Offer him a back up QB salary or let him walk. You don’t lose anything, because you weren’t going to get anywhere with him. Save the cap room for elite players. I don’t get why teams let them selves get hoodwinked. This is why Bill trades players in contract years. It’s not worth paying them.

You’re probably winning in spite of Dak. He’s not a SB MVP type for sure

He already has one of the best O-lines in the NFL.

Absolutely, he wouldn’t even on the top 10 list of worst QBs to win a SB.

Johnson
Dilfer
McMahon
Namath
Hofstetler
Rypien
Williams
Foles
Flacco
Theismann
Griese

Dak is, at a minimum, better than all the above SB winning QBs.

Through 48 career regular season starts, Dak’s QBR is 25 points higher than Eli’s was, his TD/INT ratio was TWICE as high and his YPA was nearly 1.5 yards more. He also has more division titles, playoff appearances and playoff wins.

Through this point in their respective careers, Dak is superior in literally every single way to Eli.

This could prove true, though Dak is superior in every way at this point.

I think the cowboys have the pieces in place to win a SB. This is their window.

That little winning streak they went on last year will end up being the best thing that happens for the rest of that division in the long run
