Yeah I was kidding for sure. I would not even try to go after a 42 year old qb who is on his way down and maybe has one more year of semi-decent play left in him.

I don't think Detroit is done with Stafford.

They aren't done with him.

They owe him $15 million in base salary next season, but if they cut him they take a $24+ million cap hit.

Cam’s value at this point is a half eaten ham sandwich and an empty Pringles container

My wife used to rave about how good Skyline chili was. She’s from that area and had no idea that CINNAMON in chili is just straight gross. I mean wtf.

I mean he's just going to be signed if he were to change teams, and it would probably be Cheap. I wouldn't mind him as a Panthers fan.
I just don't think Tom would want to play for the Panthers and live in Charlotte.

DET could absolutely draft Tua, plan to start Stafford one more year, then trade him to a desirable destination the following year.

Likely not probable but absolutely a solid and smart plan if they do so.

May be best long term for Tua to not dive immediately into a starting role in the NFL.

Where is Tua expected to go?

A lot of mock’s have Tua at #5 to the Dolphins. Carolina has pick #7.

Or they trade with anyone below Cinci, or get a FA QB (Bridgwater comes to mind), or they punt for a year and tank for TL/Fields.

they will trade up with detroit for tua

They won't outbid Miami if it comes down to it. I think that they are SOL when it comes to the top 2 QBs this year.

Perhaps they want to contend now
They have too many holes to contend now. Cam may make them better than they want to be for their draft position next year. Tua would be an interesting choice.

Bears better be in on him.

They have a short window on that defense, they MUST bring in a starter, or it will be for nothing.

Panthers have Will Grier. He may fit well with what Rhule and Brady want to do.

I think Tua is a great QB ( when healthy). But if I am a GM I am really wondering how a hip injury like that will turnout. There could be long lasting effects. Not sure I would take a chance on him in 1st round.

That image looks gross, because it looks like it isn't even cooked. I bet a warm plate of that would be fricking delicious though.

Nope, Cincy isn't trading that pick. They'll draft someone, maybe Herbert or Eason.

It would be really stupid but they are the Bengals.
