2017-18 was great times on here. Boom absolutely ran this place whether folks want to admit it or not. That Rockets team was awesome and as a fan that series loss still stings and I still despise Golden State for it.

I know your love for Harden. Worst thing he ever did in my option was leave Houston. However, I find incredibly hard to believe. Sans two seasons, GSWs have been on an absolute tear going deep
Into the playoffs. King James won an ungodly amount of games in the Eastern conference. What’s your source?

Harden, Westbrook, and Paul - 0 rings
Lebron - 4
Green - 3
Ibaka - 1
i'll save you the time from having to look it up...
and it's funny you intentionally left out the postseason, where it REALLY counts... i guess being 9th on that list doesn't hit quite the same, huh?
oh and all 8 above him, as well as the next 7 after him, all have rings...
poor Jim... me and him have the EXACT same NBA post season championship hardware at home

That stat chart debunks your argument and you don’t even realize it.

Absolutely, he's a proven winner and a team player with his best ball still ahead of him.

Since entering the NBA has won more games than any other player (sorry Bron, Steph, KD, russ, etc)

He was better in that series than his own teammate Embiid who won the MVP. When you got the mvp who isn’t even the best player on his own team, good chance you are in trouble.
Such a bad leader of men!!

The pivots get worse and worse every year.
BOS/Phi was de facto title game
Pivot to
Phi wore Boston out more than I thought

Lebron has won titles when he has had
1. 2 healthy perennial all star caliber teammates (bosh/Wade, Irving/love)
2. 1 healthy teammate who was playing like a top 5 kinda guy (AD).
Without one of those combos, no title.
harden has never had a healthy super team supporting cast or top 5 teammate in a season he was also healthy. Has not had anything close to the help lebron or Steph had. If Embiid played his arse off and they lost it would be one thing, but that was far far from the case this year (and last too fwiw).

What a roundabout way of saying he had KD playing all God mode yet couldn't win because Jim hurt his hammy due to being grossly out of shape.

Grossly Out of shape players don’t dominate the league bro that isn’t how pro sports work.
From March 2021
Harden is averaging 25.7 points, 11.5 assists and 9.1 rebounds over 28 games with the Nets, who are 21-7 since combining Harden with Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.
While Harden’s case rests partly on his numbers — he could join Oscar Robertson and Russell Westbrook as the only players to average a triple-double over the course of a season if he makes a push in rebounding — he also appeases the crowd that emphasizes the “valuable” in MVP. Hard to believe the season began with Harden, only the 15th former MVP (2017-18) to be traded, as the butt of jokes for being out of shape and selfish as he demanded a trade from the Rockets.
Where would the Nets, who are tied for the lead in the Eastern Conference, be without trading for Harden? Durant hasn’t played since Feb. 13 but the Nets are 12-1 without him as part of an extended 14-1 stretch. Irving was on a personal leave of absence when Harden was acquired and he has sat out three games during the recent surge, including Wednesday’s win over the Pacers, due to various shoulder and groin injuries.
“James is so elite he’s able to make the big plays that very few people can make down the stretch,” Nash said after coaching Harden through his 11th triple-double (40 points, 15 assists, 10 rebounds) in 42 minutes on Wednesday. “When he plays that many minutes, he stuffs the stat sheet. I could go on and on about James and the nuances of what he does all night, but he definitely is a winner, a leader, and an elite, elite performer.”
