Parra would have easily caught it if it weren't for the Astros fan tipping the ball.
“Easily”
Dude was already turned around trying to find his footing. There was no “easily” about it.

the outfielder was in good position, eyes on the ball, and probably would have hauled it in.
Not an Astros’ fan, the rule is the rule, but this is just not correct. He was scrambling and completely whiffed. He wasn’t catching that ball. Now the feed on MLB.com acts like he’s camped out, but watch the video. He’s scrambling, slams the wall, and flat out misjudged where the ball was going to be before any contact was made.

Not only was he trying to find his footing, the article from ESPN showed he actually overadjusted to the ball. His glove was past where the ball would have landed before the fan even tipped it; so there is no "easily" about it becasue he would have missed played the ball.
With that said, the fan did interfere with the play and with the way the rule is written the Ump was right to overturn the call. The ump is not allowed to use judgement to determine if the catch would have been made; the defender was in position to make a play on the ball, fan interfered, call is an out. BS rule

Actually I do know the rule. I was saying that there is no way that you can say for certain he was going to catch that after slamming into the wall before the fan touched it. Go back to doing the weather for channel whatever. Why did you tag me? You want followers?

GB remember when he slid into that fans DM last year because he mentioned him in a trade rumor then deleted his twitter account

Bregman is a douche canoe. Plain and simple

You know what, I just saw the video of this hit- was listening to the Rockies radio call last night when this happened.
This should not have been overturned. If they dont want fan interference there then they shouldn't put fricking folding chairs behind the fence to where its waist high to reach over the fence. That's Coors Field's problem, not the hitters.
Awful call. You cant penalize the hitter for that.

Letting fans interfere with a ball still in the field of play is not what we want. Maybe they could call a do-over.

Why gives a shite? Produce results - that's all that matters.

Bregman is a flea on the nutsack of MLB...

He is probably a bit of a douche and definitely arrogant as hell, but most top flight baseball players are that way. He lives and dies with winning every day and his teammates/coaches/most Astros fans love him for it

Like right field in Minute Maid? Lol
Can literally happen at any park. Foul ball, home run, whatever

Yeah, not a good look. He seems to have moved past that, though.
