I posted the same about Arizona and why we're not as bad off as people think we are.
The NCAA only got what's in the public record from the trials. This hurts KU a TON because Gassnola testified and his texts with Self came into evidence. Thus, the NCAA has a lot of ammo on KU and an independent witness saying he actually gave money to players on KU's behalf.
Wade's tape has him talking about a strong arse offer, but there isn't that back end of confirmation of a witness actually saying he paid anyone.
Similarly with Arizona, Book Richardson said he paid in recorded calls, but has subsequently denied that and said he was exaggerating to get $ from Christian Dawkins.
KU is in trouble because their money man testified under oath to actually providing money and texts with Self corroborate it. LSU and Arizona, it's coaches making claims without that layer of confirmation that $ actually changed hands.
