Texas went from 7th place, over the dead carcass of FSU, all the way to the 3rd place seed. Where is all the Booger indignation? That's right, not one word about why Texas jumped FSU and was more worthy in the eyes of the Playoff Committee.
Once Georgia lost, it was all but guaranteed a one-loss team was getting in.
The two available one-loss conference champions just so happened to play each other in the regular season.
Whether Texas “jumped” FSU or not, it’s still Bama that they were left out in favor of.

Because they pick four teams you dickhead.
They're not going to put Bama in without Texas after they stomped them in their place.

Why didn't FSU move to 3rd and the 4th spot be between Texas and Bama?

You must have as much problem with math as Booger. The result still being that the Playoff Committee selected the one loss 7th and 8th seed over the undefeated 4th seed last week.
Looks like FSU is having the same public relations issue as Ohio State.

I thought Booger sounded like a complete idiot. Got absolutely destroyed by frickin Joey Galloway of all people. If the roles were reversed and it was LSU that was 12-1 and had just beaten a Georgia team that hasn't lost in two years, he would be praising the committee for making the right choice and putting the best team in, as would all of you.

Dude. They changed the rules to put you in. Just be happy. I do think the sec will always put out the best team. But they didn't rank teams based on who is the best, otherwise florida state would be behind Georgia. Instead the committee ruled that florida state is a worse team than alabama because their qb is out, but that they are still better Than georgia because they are ranked above them.
Also voted that Washington is better than bama.
Also voted that Washington is better than bama.

That's the thing, if the roles were reversed, LSU isn't getting in over a undefeated FSU. That treatment is reserved for the Bama's of the world, not the rest of us.

Is that one loss to FSU who blew you out again this season?
Then, you might not.

This is reading like pure delusion. Texas and bama are not equal in this scenario, bama lost at home to Texas
It’s actually where the subjectivity of the committee shines through, in order to bring in bama, they had to bring in TX. There is no other way to look at this, the question was how do we justify bama being included; not who are the best four teams or the most worthy/justifiable teams. The final rankings reflect that.

Which rule?
Last I checked "most deserving" wasn't a rule which is why undefeated Liberty aren't IN.
The rules do include taking into consideration injuries and using specific measurements to determine the BEST team.

Yeah Texas just lost to Oklahoma. A team the committee rated about the same as LSU (FSU beat them).
So again, cry more but you can't explain why FSU wasn't moved to 3rd and the last spot wasn't between UGA, Texas and Bama.

The committee could have just as easily put FSU at #3 and Texas at #4. Instead, they thought a one-loss Texas was better than an undefeated FSU. Why else would you do it?
Just rinse and repeat with BAMA.

You HAVE to put in an undefeated P5 champ.
You HAVE to put in a 12-1 SEC champ who has the most top 15 wins, only loss was to one-loss team, and who knocked off GA in Atlanta.
You do not HAVE to put in a one-loss Big 12 champion.
Everyone became obsessed with the result of one game in September and lost their minds like a bunch of women.

You know who we wouldn’t have to play this game of musical losses with? FSU
And I could explain the last spot if FSU was 3, it would be TX because they beat bama. There’s that’s the end

Them ganging up on booger is some of the most ridiculous shite I’ve ever seen on ESPN and this is coming from a company that employed Jemele Hill and Skip Bayless and still has that mouth breather Kendrick Perkins on the payroll.

In all fairness, Booger needed a tutorial on what are the 4 BEST teams.

They could have left out Bama and there wouldn't have been any controversy because Texas had beaten them on the field. When we all went to bed most expected to see Bama as the 5th team out, even the Muligumps had come to terms with it. Instead we get this shite sandwich.
Posted on 12/4/23 at 8:39 am to CBandits82
Hancock said it was their job to pick the four best not four most deserving, so Booger was wrong. End of story.
FSU is not one of the four best, but the SEC Champion is, whether it's Georgia or Bama. FSUs BEST win was LSU, who had a down year by anybody standards.
Bama's only loss was to #3 Texas and they beat #1 Georgia.
If it was a tournament of the most deserving, maybe there's an argument, but when the chairman said four best, you can't argue FSU above Bama.

Why would they be asking if an undefeated conference champion really deserves to be in? It’s never happened, and they didn’t give them any warning by dropping them in the poll before that.
They picked the path of circular reasoning.

Nonsense. BAMA defeated Georgia in the 2021 SECCG. That didn't change a rematch. BAMA losing to LSU didn't stop the rematch in the old BCS with a different outcome. Florida State got a rematch with a Florida team they lost to in the old Bowl system and won a NC.
Rematches have always been a part of college football at every level.
