Could be as a fan or athlete.

I think mine came this weekend. University track/cross country team I help coach has finished 2nd to this other school in all 3 (cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track) at our conference meets for the last I don’t know how many years. Finally got over the hump and beat them by less than 10 yesterday to claim our first men’s conference title in 6 years. Women managed to claim our 7th straight by also less than 10.

I was at the 2002 WCF game 4, Lakers v Kings. Horry hits the game winning shot. It was an amazing experience. The place was rocking afterwards. Ended up taking some chick home with me as well.

As an athlete: in high school we were losing homecoming game by 7, about 2 minutes left, other team had the ball and we had only one time out. One of our linebackers got an amazing strip fumble, and we end up tying it up on fourth and goal to send it to OT. End up winning in double OT.

As a fan: storming the field when SLU beat Sam Houston for the SLC title. Had watched them beat us 70-7 two years before, and they have hands down the most cocky, arrogant, douchebag set of fans I’ve ever encountered.

LSU when they beat Oklahoma in the 2003 BCS title game. I never thought in my lifetime I would ever see LSU win a national championship. I always had to hear stories about the 1958 team from my pawpaw.

For some reason the win over the Vikings was more cathartic for me. After a lifetime of failures we finally were going to the Super Bowl. Actual tears in my eyes when that FG went through the uprights and I still watch the video of the call a couple of times a year.

The playoff win over the Rams was pretty amazing, too, but that’s because I was in the Dome for that one.

The rest of the 2019 LSU season after the Texas game... my wife followed football a little. But after that game she was with me the rest of the season cheering her arse off... she usually sits at computer desk, but for the OU game and the NC game she sat in the living room with me..... having my favorite person showing the same passion as I did was just very special......

Personally, I had a track meet where I got the stick as anchor leg in 2nd place in the 4x100 and passed 1st place at the tape. 10.8 split. Never touched anywhere near that again. Won the 100m and passed a dude on the home stretch in the 4x400 to win the relay.

I was a very meddling track athlete overall but had a hell of a day one time.

As a fan, Cowboysx3 in the 90s and Mavs championship.

Aggies have had some fun wins but if it’s not NC, meh.

Watching game 7 Lakers Celtics when Sasha comes in and sinks two free throws to clinch it. Kobe gets his 5th. I was watching with my buddy and a bunch of the most obnoxious Boston fans it was awesome.

Skylar Green punt return for TD vs Auburn. Was 14/15 years old sitting with my grandfather in the south end zone and he called the return. Obviously big hugs and high fives followed. I've seen some bigger moments and been to bigger games but the big picture of that one always sticks out to me.

As an athlete I'd have to say it was a tie. In 11th grade I intercepted a screen pass and ran it back for a touchdown. And then in 12th grade my last at bat playing baseball was a two-run homer.

As a fan I'd honestly say it was the NFC championship game versus the Vikings. I felt like they may have just been the best team the Saints face that whole season. I mean don't get me wrong I didn't think the SB versus the colts was going to be a walk in the park or anything but I didn't feel the same kind of nervousness that I did when I watched the Saints and the Vikings.

It’s trivial in retrospect, but I was the shortstop that fielded and turned an incredibly difficult double play to send our team to the 5A state semi-final my junior year. The 2B was one of my best buddies and we’d played baseball together since we were kids. We were up 8-6 and other team had the bases loaded, 1 out. It’s a ball that should have gone through to probably tie the game. Still a fun video to watch and the reactions across the field are amazing.

As a fan, 2003 NC and 2007 NC. The whole 2019 season was a state of Euphoria as well.
