Mark Grace will be the only player to lead a decade (1990s) in hits AND doubles to not get into the HoF.

There’s no way Juan Gonzalez wasn’t on steroids that’s probably why he isn’t in.

He also only has 35 WAR. I'm not saying WAR is the end all be all, but typically players that get in have at least 60-80.

Correct answer. HR's are low due to playing in the dead ball era.

This might be one of the dumbest questions ever.

Its Pete Rose.

Let me rephrase. Will Clark has quality stats, but does not have the quantity that it takes to make the HoF. You have to remember how short he cut his career.

Chipper Jones

Just realized Chipper was inducted in last class. Dumbass. In that case, Jose Canseco or Jose Lima

How about rewording the question about about players who aren't in not because of roids, gambling, etc.

That’s not my point tho. This is all players not in the hall regardless of why they aren’t in.

Besides the players who were banned for life or linked to PEDs, I would say it has to be Curt Schilling.

Pete Rose in the 70s led baseball in both categories
