If you combine after the half of the past 3 games.

Game 4: 1-1 FG
Game 5: 0-1 FG
Game 6: 0-1 FG

Sheesh. A starting Pg...

I believe he is also shooting 32% from the FT line in the playoffs.

He is a worse shooter than your average solid athlete from high school dad

Like I have friends who are 33 with two kids that were good athletes in high school that can shoot better than Simmons. It’s wild

Seriously, watch him in the 4th quarter. He's actively hiding behind defenders to not get the ball passed to him.

It’s crazy that he just can’t shoot

I’m pretty sure I’m a better shooter than Simmons. I can do work in the rec 4 days a week.

He played like bitch at LSU as well. He completely hid from the moment when LSU lost at the buzzer to top ranked Oklahoma

He's a train wreck. I'd be so embarrassed if I was him.

Obviously I'm not good and I only played 3 years of high school, but I can shoot better than Ben Simmons. This is a fact not opinion.

Jalen Rose has said that Ben Simmons shoots with the wrong hand. Basically every time Simmons attempts a contested layup or shot near the basket, he uses his right hand. When a player is under duress, they always go with what is natural for them. Of course, it begs to wonder how fricking stupid you have to be to be in the league for five years and not figure that out.

We all focus on his shooting, and I'm not even saying that's wrong.

But it shouldn't matter, he's 6'10 and the most athletic dude on the court in this series. He should be infinitely better even without a jump shot.

I'd like to see Philly lose just to see the shakeup with the roster and how it would play out. I can't recall a max level player losing as much value as Ben Simmons has here recently.

he looks scared to have the ball in his hands. He is a damn PG that doesn't want the ball and can't shoot FTs.

I haven't shot a basketball in 3 or 4 years, but I was a good enough shooter in high-school that I'm pretty sure I would be better than Simmons after a 30 second warm up.

edit: I think he has poor eye discipline. Its one of the things I've taught kids in the past. you have to be aiming at the right spot. a lot of guys think its about form and just throw it at the basket.

but he's been getting high level coaching for years...no one would overlook such a simple thing...right?

I've always thought that Simmons was an elite player. When you have to sit at the end of close games due to your terrible offense, no way can I still consider Ben elite.

Pitiful for him how effective the hack-a-ben is.

He is an elite athlete, I am disappointed he has not put the work in to get better at that part of his game, that’s what the great ones do. Lebron could not shoot three’s when he came in the league, but the game changed to a wing, guard, 3pt league and he worked and adjusted.

It looks like he’s actually regressed since LSU which seems unpossible

It's amazing how many BBall players can't freaking shoot and get paid bank because they are 6'9.
They better save their money.

I feel very safe saying no one in this thread can shoot better than Ben Simmons

he's NBA bad, but there are strong odds he'd be the best shooter you've ever seen in your life in person
