They are currently 12-0. They have 9 shutouts and have only given up 4 runs all year. Looks like another stacked recruiting class!

It’s amazing how stacked they are this year

They have 7 or 8 D1 guys that have committed or have offers from major programs

They are 11-0 with 112 runs scored and 4 given up

Cecchini has been there forever. I’ve heard he’s a weird dude and might be on the spectrum?

Anyone ever play for him?

Growing up in Lake Charles it’s amazing how well they do in developing baseball players

Sam Houston
Barbe
Sulphur

All ranked in the top 5 in state

But yet Barbe isn’t #1 in the PR, South Terrebonne is because they’ve gotten play-up points (by being 4A in the 5A nonselect division)

To be fair Sam Houston is ahead of them too

While we're being fair South Terrebonne didn't make the choice to be in Division 1 and found out when everyone else did after everyone's schedules were made. South Lafourche is in the same boat. Look at the post-Ida enrollment numbers at both of these schools.

Two very good 4A programs that will have to play against JUCO's in the playoffs.

Looks like they are the favorites this year in 5A, they reload each year.

and don't worry, ST is still telling anyone who will listen (and even those that don't want to hear it) that they won the State title last year.

Pretty sure he's got a touch of Tourette's. He's definitely got a tick. From what I understand though, he's a pretty good guy.

Just my opinion but he might be the Rainman of baseball. And as far as I have experienced, a damn good guy. Probably very demanding as a coach, but that should be expected.

Which is absolutely ridiculous because they have played garbage teams so far. Their toughest win is 5-3-1, second best is 5-4. The rest have losing records. The stupid playing up points while in the same division must go.

Barbe is 3 because they have played 4 teams with a winning record in those 12 games. Their only 5A win against a team with a winning record is 6-4 Zachary. Their schedule has been ridiculously weak so far. Their district is the best in the state, so I’m sure they’ll be a top 4 seed. That’s all that matters as that pretty much insures home field throughout now. 1-4 are the same as the semifinals and finals are all in Sulphur. So really Barbe will be home through the playoffs.

If 3-5A is the best then South Terrebonne’s is the second best

I think it's more a neurological issue that gives him ticks like Tourette's, not like the autism spectrum.

Any truth to the rumors that Theriot was thisclose to luring him away from SWLA to resurrect the once-proud Broadmoor Buccaneer program?
