But it doesn’t really promote baseball

I’d rather my son not be groomed by a bunch of gay men dancing

Yeah they probably do something really stupid like paying with a debit card or credit card like a commie!

Well they’re probably accompanying children
Getting upset about this is the same as not being able to understand how or why people attend a Bluey concert, it’s not for the people buying the ticket. My kids wouldn’t watch much of anything if it needed to be something that entertains me.
FWIW mine have not watched any of the Savanah bannana stuff but if they do, I’ll be happy to bring them. They’re kids, not everything has to be super serious.

Do better than to take your kids to things they enjoy?
What a douche…. You probably spend your entire winter in the woods “at the camp” while your wife, or ex, actually takes care of the family.
And for the record..
Never been to one of their games. My teenager isn’t interested, and feels the same I do- it’s pretty gay. But if handler opposite, I could suck up 3 hours for him.

Went to the last one at LSU. Definitely not for me. Felt like I was experiencing someone scroll through tik tok in real life. It's constant music the whole time, and it changes every 15 seconds.
It's easy to see why certain people and kids enjoy it. They are obviously entertaining plenty of people, so good for them.

The dimensions of the field is going to be crazy since the dome can't be configured for baseball any more.
Is that since the remodel? I remember going to an LSU-Tulane game there back in 2002

I don't think it matters when you have Players singing their way onto field like a scene from a Modern Day version of High School Musical, getting pitches from a guy on stilts, a dancing umpire, and a dance routine from the infielders before a pitch is thrown.
I wonder what their music budget is. I can't imagine artist allowing their music to be easily synced and played on social media and in sports venues without some sort of monetary consideration or licensing.
Not that they would used this type of music, but the Eagles are notorious for commanding top dollar for their songs. There was even a bit on David Letterman where they wanted to play an Eagles' song on the Late Show, and licensing told them the Eagles wanted 250,000 dollars just to play a part of a song. So instead, CBS's music library had a song that was very similar to an Eagles song, so they played that instead.
I know a lot has changed and some musicians have had to embrace this happening because so many people have been doing it and now with revenue sharing they can command a share of the ad revenue some enterprising video creator has made. Of course in this avenue you need millions of plays just to get enough of a payout, and an artist or licensing group can shut down videos they deem inappropriate.

I can respect that.
Let me rephrase.
I have no idea how any straight male without children watches this shite.

I attended at Alex Box with my son’s baseball team. Was expected to loathe them but it was an absolute blast. Anyone who knock them has never attended a game. Time flies by then it’s over.

Not my cup of tea, but I get why people love it.
It won't be around in a decade, but for short attention. ADHD, generations. This is their holy grail.
And their owner makes sure people are entertained, baseball is 2nd and I hear the concessions are cheaper?

Agreed. Take your boys to real baseball games, not to see a bunch of guys who can't make it in the MLB dance around like figs
Why not do both?
I'm not sure why there is so much hate for banana ball. It makes for an affordable night out with a family (if you get tickets at face value for $35) and kids love it.
Some people have daughters, as well.

They played at Memorial Stadium at Clemson (sold it out) and there was definitely a short porch in left field.

My wife (not a big sports fan traditionally) and four of her girlfriends love the Bananas baseball.
For the last three summers, they have done a “Girls Week” where they look at the schedule, pick a week, and follow the Bananas on the road.
They are such fanatics about it that they always try to stay in the team’s hotel too - so they can get photos and autographs.
