Many players have a problem with pain killers but now they can’t get it like they use to & it’s finals counterfeit Xanax or counterfeit hydro laced with fentanyl

People are posting that suicide and overdose are potentially at play. Aren’t they speculating as well?

This isn't his obituary. No one here knows him or his family.

I already was a Ehlinger fan. This is terrible and is making me pull for him even more.

It was actually during a triathlon, at the very beginning in the swimming portion of the event. The water was 51 degrees and there are different theories about the cold water possibly causing arrhythmias.

When deaths occur during a triathlon, you can almost guarantee that it occurred during the swim. And it is always ether due to the sudden shock of cold water coupled with lots of caffeine in the body or someone getting panicky, disoriented due to competitors kicking and running into you.

There was a guy who died a couple of years ago in Lake Charles during T-Gator. Tragic shite. Think it was his first triathlon ever or maybe first open water swim and he drowned.

Sad. I know their dad died at a triathlon years ago. Escape from alcatraz I believe. I was actually there that day as wife was competing in the race. This was years Before Sam became a college qb
All we knew is that a 49 hear old man from Austin died in the race.

Years later when Sam becomes a qb at UT the story was shared and I realize that was his father. Wouldn't be surprised if this was suicide. Praying for their family.

As in, there were rumors flying around UT about what happened that I feel decently confident in.

But I also probably shouldn’t have even mentioned it. That’s my bad. You’re right.

Eh, most likely options but kids his age have died of unknown heart problems. LSU had a star baseball player die in his sleep like that in 2002, Wally Pontiff

No reason to white knight here... there is nothing wrong with speculating a tragic death on an internet message board. Like Jeselnik says.. the victim and the victims family have victim shite to do today, they aren’t checking to see if they’re trending on tigerdroppings

Didn't Wally Pontiff take some stuff though? I'm sure steroids are more prevalent than we're willing to believe.

What could possibly be suspicious about a ~20 year old randomly found dead?

I guess nothing at all as they say
It is possible it is not suspicious because they have a good idea of what caused it but aren't releasing full details.

We are just a year or so removed from hearing how OL Zach Slagle of Ohio State climbed into a garbage bin and shot himself to death. Leaving behind a suicide note. Mental illness is a killer.

My neighbor was recently found dead by his roommate. He had a brain aneurysm. Otherwise completely healthy 20 something year old.
